teri talash ke maron ki nind puri ho

jo tirī justujū meñ chhoḌ diyā

us kā nemul-badal to tū bhī nahīñ

jo teri justuju mein chhoD diya

us ka nemul-badal to tu bhi nahin

tere hote bhī sab ḳharāb hī thā

aur phir aaj kal to tū bhī nahīñ

tere hote bhi sab KHarab hi tha

aur phir aaj kal to tu bhi nahin
