yaaro ab kuchh der to Thahro thoḌī taab to laane do
murjhāne se pahle dil ko ek hañsī kī hasrat kyuuñ
band kalī ko kuchh bhī nahīñ to ek tabassum paane do
kis anmol pashemānī kī daulat hai in ā.ankhoñ meñ
palkoñ par do aañsū jhamkeñ motī ke se daane do
us dilbar ko pyaas hamārī kuchh taskīn to detī hai
jis ne ham par khol diye haiñ ā.ankhoñ ke mai-ḳhāne do
ham bhī apnā hosh gañvā kar sab ke jaise ho jaa.eñ
khul hī ga.ī hai jab botal to bhar ke do paimāne do
