جینے کی تیاری چھوڑ
یار مرے ہشیاری چھوڑ
سیدھے اپنی بات پہ آ
یہ لہجہ درباری چھوڑ
یا دنیا کا خوف ہٹا
یا پھر ہم سے یاری چھوڑ
چہرہ گم ہو جائے گا
خود سے یہ عیاری چھوڑ
دیوانوں سے ہاتھ ملا
اب یہ دنیا داری چھوڑ
لوٹ کے گھر بھی جانا ہے
منصب تخت سواری چھوڑ
اپنے دل سے پوچھ ذرا
چل تو بات ہماری چھوڑ
