شمع امید جلا بیٹھے تھے
دل میں خود آگ لگا بیٹھے تھے
ہوش آیا تو کہیں کچھ بھی نہ تھا
ہم بھی کس بزم میں جا بیٹھے تھے
دشت گلزار ہوا جاتا ہے
کیا یہاں اہل وفا بیٹھے تھے
اب وہاں حشر اٹھا کرتے ہیں
کل جہاں اہل وفا بیٹھے تھے
