About The Author
Salma Shaheen was born in Gorakhpur in 1965, lives in Delhi. She holds an M.A and a PhD in Urdu from Delhi University. She was a lecturer at the Zakir Hussain College , Delhi. She is well-known for presenting her ghazals in Mushsiras, in her unique melodious style. She has one poetry collection to her credit and has compiled books on two important literary personalities: Saghar Nizami and Dr.Qamar Rais.
