"گھرآنگن"جا نثار اختر کی رباعیات و قطعات کا مجموعہ ہے ۔یہ مجموعہ اپنے منفرد موضوع اور اندازِ بیان کے سبب اردو شعروادب میں خاص اہمیت کا متقاضی رہا ہے۔"گھرآنگن" کا موضوع ازدواجی زندگی کے سکھ دکھ کی دھوپ چھاؤں ہے،اس کی وساطت سے پہلی مرتبہ ازدواجی زندگی اور خاتون خانہ نے اردو شاعری میں خاص مقام حاصل کیا۔ یہ موضوع ہندی و سنسکرت شاعری میں تو ابتدا سے رائج تھا لیکن اردو شاعری کے لیے یہ نیا تھا جسے جاں نثار اختر نے اپنے مخصوص اندازِ فکر اور لب و لہجے سے ایک خاص رنگ عطا کردیا۔ اس ضمن میں کرشن چندر اپنے مضمون ’سہاگ کا جھومر‘ میں لکھتے ہیں: ”عام طورپر شاعر و ادیبوں نے بیوی اور محبوبہ کو الگ الگ انفرادی حیثیت دی ہے۔ شاعروں نے بیوی کو تو سرے سے ہی نہیں گردانا۔ ناول نگار بھی اپنا ناول وہاں ختم کردیتے ہیں جہاں پر محبوبہ بیوی بن جاتی ہے۔ مطلب یہ کہ اب قصے میں کوئی دلچسپی نہیں رہی۔ ختم شد۔ اختر نے ’گھرآنگن‘ میں اس بات کو وہاں سے شروع کیا جہاں اکثر ناول نگار اور افسانہ نگار اسے ختم کردیتے ہیں، وہی اختر کے لیے ابتدا ہے۔ ازدواجی زندگی کے سکھ دکھ، باہمی رفاقت، پیار و محبت کا گہرا گداز جس سے اس دنیا کے کروڑوں گھر ایک خوب صورت زندگی سے جگمگاتے ہیں اورجنھیں اکثرو بیشتر شاعر و ادیب خاطر میں نہیں لاتے، نہ اسے شاعری میں جگہ دیتے ہیں۔ یہی اصل میں ’گھرآنگن‘ کا موضوع ہے جہاں میاں بیوی سکھ دکھ بانٹ کر جیتے ہیں۔“ نیز یہ مجموعہ اردو اور دیونا گری دونوں خطوط میں ہے تاکہ دونوں قسم کے قاری استفادہ کرسکیں۔ اور اس ایڈیشن میں اشاعت اول کے مقابلے کچھ اضافے بھی کئے گئے ہیں۔

About The Author

Jaan Nisar Akhtar has made a distinguished mark as a romantic and revolutionary poet. He was born in 1914 in Gwalior, where his father was posted, in service. His native village was Khairabad. His father Muztar Khairabadi was also a reputed shayar. Akhtar did his studies till matriculation from Gwalior and passed M.A. (Urdu) from Aligarh Muslim University. In 1940, he became a lecturer at Victoria College, Gwalior and then took up Professorship in Urdu at Hamidia College, Bhopal. He only received basic guidance from his father in classical Urdu sher-o-shayari. Despite the fact that he had no mentor, he portrayed his poetical genius in ghazals, nazms, masnavis, quatrains and songs. Seven collections of his poetry have been published. Akhtar lived in Bombay and wrote songs for movies. He passed away on August 18, 1976 in Mumbai, following a heart attack. In recognition of his poetical accomplishments, he received many awards like M.P. Sahitya Akademi, Soviet Land Nehru Award, etc. His language and style were simple but eloquent with extensive use of Hindi words.
