اہل جنوں سا کام کسی نے نہیں کیا

صحراؤں میں قیام کسی نے نہیں کیا
غالب تھے دشمنوں پہ مگر اہل ظرف تھے
اقدام انتقام کسی نے نہیں کیا
محفل میں کوئی صاحب حسن نظر نہ تھا
پردے کا اہتمام کسی نے نہیں کیا
سب لوگ مقتدی ہیں دماغوں کے آج کل
اس قلب کو امام کسی نے نہیں کیا
دنیا کی لذتوں میں گرفتار ہو گئے
عقبیٰ کا انتظام کسی نے نہیں کیا
