ایک عالم ہمارے سر ہو جائے
شور دشت سکوت میں کم ہے
اے ہوا تو ہی تیز تر ہو جائے
نہ کریں گے وہ رخ ادھر اپنا
چاہے دنیا ادھر ادھر ہو جائے
درد آواز رفتہ رفتہ بنے
آہ شب نالۂ سحر ہو جائے
کتنی راہیں کھلی ہیں اپنے لیے
دیکھیے کب کدھر سفر ہو جائے
اس لیے ہوشیار رہتا ہوں
کیا خبر کب وہ بے خبر ہو جائے
