vo khiḌkī meñ aayā thā yā saayā thā
darvāze ke pīchhe ik parchhā.īñ thī
us ne haath hilāyā thā yā saayā thā
ek lakīr dhueñ kī thī yā ḳhushbū kī
rañg koī lahrāyā thā yā saayā thā
abhī jo mere paas thā shāyad apnā thā
shāyad koī parāyā thā yā saayā thā
niind se jaagā huuñ to baiThā sochtā huuñ
ḳhvāb meñ us ko paayā thā yā saayā thā
