dekhe terā rasta phuul
ek akelā tanhā phuul
raat hai chāñd saverā phuul
vo terā ye merā phuul
baaġh meñ jā kar dekh liyā
koī nahīñ thā tujh sā phuul
yuuñ chaurāhoñ kī zīnat
jaise ek tamāshā phuul
maiñ zindāñ aur tanhā.ī
tū gulshan aur kyā kyā phuul
toḌā maslā pheñk diyā
tū ne mere pyaar kā phuul
kāñToñ meñ rahtā hai 'jamīl'
phir bhī sab se achchhā phuul
dekhe tera rasta phul
ek akela tanha phul
raat hai chand sawera phul
wo tera ye mera phul
bagh mein ja kar dekh liya
koi nahin tha tujh sa phul
yun chaurahon ki zinat
jaise ek tamasha phul
main zindan aur tanhai
tu gulshan aur kya kya phul
toDa masla phenk diya
tu ne mere pyar ka phul
kanTon mein rahta hai 'jamil'
phir bhi sab se achchha phul
