ایک دریا چھپا کے گھر رکھنا
کتنا مشکل ہے چشم تر رکھنا
پہلی صف میں کھڑے ہوئے لوگو
آخری شخص پر نظر رکھنا
یار دیوار کا تقاضا ہے
کچھ بھی ہو جائے اس میں در رکھنا
مجھ کو امکان نے سکھا ڈالا
ایک تازہ خراش کر رکھنا
اپنے پہلو میں تم بھی مصرع میرؔ
اے مرے ذوق معتبر رکھنا
دیکھ حیرت نہ پھیل جائے کہیں
دشت آباد پر نظر رکھنا
