ہنس کر ملتے ہو بھائی
بغض بھی رکھتے ہو بھائی
میں تو برف کا ٹکڑا ہوں
مجھ سے جلتے ہو بھائی
اور میں اب کتنا چیخوں
اونچا سنتے ہو بھائی
تم بھی پاک پتن سے ہو
چنچل لگتے ہو بھائی
اندر سے بھی ویسے ہو
جیسے دکھتے ہو بھائی
آگ اگلتے منظر کو
کیا لکھ سکتے ہو بھائی
مزدوری بھی کرتے ہو
عشق بھی کرتے ہو بھائی
آصفؔ اونچے شملوں سے
تم کیوں ڈرتے ہو بھائی
