کبھی دور تم سے نہ جا سکا
میں تمہیں کبھی نہ بھلا سکا
ترا قرب تو بڑی دور تھا
تری گرد کو بھی نہ پا سکا
تری یاد کی شب تار میں
میں چراغ تک نہ جلا سکا
ترا درد جاگ اٹھا ہے پھر
میں نہ سو سکا نہ سلا سکا
جو محبتوں کے تھے درمیاں
میں وہ فاصلے نہ مٹا سکا
