خوشی کے وقت بھی تجھ کو ملال کیسا ہے
خوشی کے وقت بھی تجھ کو ملال کیسا ہے
عروج حسن میں نقص کمال کیسا ہے
جو ایک دوجے کو چاہیں تو کیوں نہ اپنا لیں
یہ دل سے پوچھ کے بتلا خیال کیسا ہے
نہیں جو آنے کے سب ان کی راہ تکتے ہیں
یہ انتظار کا شہر وبال کیسا ہے
ہے جس کے ساتھ جڑے اک ہزار اک خدشے
وہ ہجر کیسا ہے حامدؔ وصال کیسا ہے
