مطرب دل کی وہ تانیں کیا ہوئیں
مطرب دل کی وہ تانیں کیا ہوئیں
وہ تخیل کی اڑانیں کیا ہوئیں
کیا ہوئے وہ ترچھی نظروں کے خدنگ
ابرووں کی وہ کمانیں کیا ہوئیں
وہ ادائیں جن پہ ہوتی تھیں نثار
چاہنے والوں کی جانیں کیا ہوئیں
کیا ہوئے ٹوٹے دلوں کے زمزمے
بے زبانوں کی زبانیں کیا ہوئیں
کیا ہوئے اخترؔ امیدوں کے حصار
وہ عزائم کی چٹانیں کیا ہوئیں
