مگر ساحل پہ ٹوٹی کشتیاں کچھ اور کہتی ہیں
ہمارے شہر کی آنکھوں نے منظر اور دیکھا تھا
مگر اخبار کی یہ سرخیاں کچھ اور کہتی ہیں
ہم اہل شہر کی خواہش کہ مل جل کر رہیں لیکن
امیر شہر کی دلچسپیاں کچھ اور کہتی ہیں
