shiddat-e-intizār kaam aa.ī
un kī tahrīr mere naam aa.ī
din meñ ham ne bhulā diyā thā tujhe
raat lene ko intiqām aa.ī
sub.h markaz banī umīdoñ kā
shaam māyūsiyoñ ke kaam aa.ī
dekhte dekhte tirā chehra
ḳhud-ba-ḳhud qudrat-e-kalām aa.ī
shiddat-e-intizar kaam aai
un ki tahrir mere nam aai
din mein hum ne bhula diya tha tujhe
raat lene ko intiqam aai
subh markaz bani umidon ka
sham mayusiyon ke kaam aai
dekhte dekhte tera chehra
KHud-ba-KHud qudrat-e-kalam aai
