حشر ساماں تری رفتار کہاں تھی پہلے
تیری پائل میں یہ جھنکار کہاں تھی پہلے
خلق یوسف کی خریدار کہاں تھی پہلے
مصر میں گرمئ بازار کہاں تھی پہلے
یہ تو جلووں کا تصرف ہے تمہارے ورنہ
انجمن مطلع انوار کہاں تھی پہلے
فیض ہے مست نگاہی کا تری اے ساقی
زندگی ورنہ یہ سرشار کہاں تھی
