ziist kyā āb-e-ravāñ ho jaise
ye jahāñ koī dhuāñ ho jaise
jism sahrā hai ye andar jis ke
dil koī koh-e-girāñ ho jaise
le ga.e luuT ke jaane vaale
ab to ye ḳhālī makāñ ho jaise
'ālam-e-vasl yahāñ misl-e-bahār
mausam-e-hijr ḳhizāñ ho jaise
rāteñ āñkhoñ meñ basar hotī thiiñ
ab vo rut vahm-o-gumāñ ho jaise

ab to ye KHali makan ho jaise
