ik chhoḌo ho ik aur jo miss maat karo ho
har saal ye kyā qibla-e-hājāt karo ho
samjho ho kahāñ auroñ ko tum apne barābar
bas muñh se musāvāt musāvāt karo ho
kyā husn kī daulat bhī kabhī bāñTo ho sāhib
sunñe meñ to aayā hai ki ḳhairāt karo ho
mil jā.ūñ to karte ho na milne kī shikāyat
ghar aa.uuñ to ḳhātir na mudārāt karo ho
ham zāt-e-sharīf aa.e haiñ is dar pe ye sun kar
tum hañs ke sharīfoñ se mulāqāt karo ho
uTThe kahāñ baiThe kahāñ kab aa.e ga.e kab
begam kī tarah tum bhī hisābāt karo ho

tum hans ke sharifon se mulaqat karo ho

begam ki tarah tum bhi hisabaat karo ho
