نو عمری اور پیری
کل کی بات ہے
کتنے شوق سے میں یہ نظم پڑھا کرتا تھا
میں نو عمر تھا
پیری خود سے صدیوں دور نظر آتی تھی
اب میں پیری کی دہلیز پہ آ پہنچا ہوں
بچپن اور جوانی مجھ کو بالکل یاد نہیں ہیں
جیسے ان ادوار سے میں گزرا ہی نہیں
