ab ki ik umar kī mahrūmī se
dil ne samjhauta sā kar rakkhā thā
ab ki is rut meñ kisī peḌ pe pattā thā na phuul
ab ke har tarah ke dukh ke liye tayyār thā dil
kis liye sūkhī huī shāḳh pe ye sho.ala sī koñpal phūTī
kis liye terā ye paiġhām aayā
