پتے سارے کے سارے
ہرے بھرے تھے کبھی
دھیرے دھیرے
ایک ایک پتہ
پیلا ہو کر
دم توڑ رہا ہے
جڑا تھا جن سے
اب ان کا ساتھ
چھوڑ رہا ہے
قدرت کا قانون
یہی ہے
تبھی تو پھوٹیں گی
نئی نئی کونپلیں
