وہ دیکھو سورج
زمیں کے اندر اتر رہا ہے
چلو اسے دفن کر کے
اپنے گھروں کو جائیں
تمام دن کا عذاب
کھونٹی پہ ٹانگ کر
میلے بستروں کو
چمکتے خوابوں سے جگمگائیں
یہ وقت
کیوں جاگ کر گنوائیں
کہ کل یہ سورج
اسی زمیں سے
نکل کے
اپنے سروں پہ ہوگا
چلو اسے دفن کر کے
اپنے گھروں کو جائیں
