About the Film Maker

Huma is an Author, Filmmaker and the Creative Director of Rekhta Foundation

She has previously made a feature film ‘Majaz: A life in Poetry’ in 2023 which was released at the UK Asian film festival, screened at the Cannes film festival and it won the best director award in New York infest film festival 2023.

Majaz is available as an inflight entertainment in several major airlines like Oman Air, Qatar Airways and British Airways. “Majaz” will be available to watch on soon to be launched on Rekhta Plus platform.
