جو پوچھا مجھ سے دور چرخ نے کیا تو مسلماں ہے
جو پوچھا مجھ سے دور چرخ نے کیا تو مسلماں ہے
میں گھبرایا کہ اس دریافت میں کیا رمز پنہاں ہے
کروں اقرار تو شاید یہ بے مہری کرے مجھ سے
اگر انکار کرتا ہوں تو خوف قہر یزداں ہے
بالآخر کہہ دیا میں نے کہ گو مسلم تو ہے بندہ
ولیکن مولوی ہرگز نہیں ہے خانساماں ہے
