vaqf-e-hirmān-o-yās rahtā hai
dil hai akasr udaas rahtā hai
tum to ġham de ke bhuul jaate ho
mujh ko ehsāñ kā paas rahtā hai
waqf-e-hirman-o-yas rahta hai

tum to gham de ke bhul jate ho
mujh ko ehsan ka pas rahta hai
