shāyad ye qalam hī naḳhl bār-āvar ho
miqrāz-e-ajal hai qāta-e-shāḳh-e-nabāt
mumkin hai isī meñ rāz-e-jāñ muzmar ho

shayad ye qalam hi naKHl bar-awar ho
miqraaz-e-ajal hai qata-e-shaKH-e-nabaat
mumkin hai isi mein raaz-e-jaan muzmar ho
