yan nafs ki shoKHi se hai majnun laila
yaañ nafas kī shoḳhī se hai majnūñ lailā
qaane hai to mat bahr-e-nafī kahnā lā
lā sharm zarā 'qalaq' duā se pahle
hāthoñ kā uThānā bhī to hai sūrat-e-lā

la sharm zara 'qalaq' dua se pahle
