H بنجر बंजर, बनजर banjar [S. बन्ध्या+धरा], s.m. Waste land unfit for cultivation; unproductive land, fallow land; waste, wild, jungle:—banjar-jadīd, s.m. Land brought recently into cultivation after lying some time fallow:—banjar ḵẖārij-ě jamʻ, s.m. Waste land excluded from the rental:—banjar qadīm, s.m. Land left fallow for some years:—banjar-kamī, s.f. Abatement of rent in consideration of waste land.
