Syed Amjad Hussain is an Indian writer, poet, and independent researcher specializing in Sufism and Islamic history. He was born in the village of Jamuara, Sheikhpura district, Bihar, into a family descended from Hazrat Syed Ahmed Jajneri Zaidi Wasti, a revered Sufi saint of the region. Deeply influenced by his ancestral legacy, he has dedicated his work to exploring the spiritual, literary, and cultural heritage of Bihar.
He is the author of "Bihar Aur Sufivad," a widely acclaimed study that documents the Sufi traditions, shrines, and poetic contributions of Bihar within the broader Indo-Islamic framework.
