Zaki Haider Zaidi was born in 1950. He belonged to a landlord family of Unnao. Dr Aalia Imam was his maternal aunt. He was also addressed as Zafar Zaidi, where Zafar was his pen name. Zakhm Zakhm Ujala is the collection of his poetry. He died on 13 October 1983 at very a young age.
