Khanqah Sajjadiya Abul Ulaiya, Danapur (Patna) is one of the oldest and most distinguished spiritual khanqahs of Bihar. It represents the continuation of the spiritual and scholarly legacy of Khanqah Morah Talab, originally established by Hazrat Latifuddin Bandagi after receiving spiritual training and authorization from Hazrat Bu Ali Shah Qalandar and Hazrat Shaykh Sharafuddin Ahmad Yahya Maneri. Following the decline of Khanqah Morah Talab in the twelfth century AH, this spiritual center was re-established in Danapur, where it came to be known as Khanqah Sajjadiya Abul Ulaiya. Dedicated to the legacy of Hazrat Makhdoom Sajjad Pak, the khanqah has preserved the traditions of Sufism, spiritual guidance, social reform, and humanitarian service for centuries. While it is the principal center of the Abul Ulaiya spiritual order, it also preserves authorizations in several other Sufi lineages.

Throughout its history, the khanqah has remained a center of learning, spirituality, and public service. It has long maintained a tradition of providing free meals, supporting widows and orphans, assisting those in need, and serving people irrespective of religion or social background. Emperor Shah Alam II is also known to have held the khanqah's spiritual masters in high esteem. The Sajjada Nashins and scholars associated with the institution have authored more than one hundred scholarly and religious works, making a lasting contribution to the intellectual and spiritual heritage of South Asia. From Hazrat Shah Akbar Danapuri to the present Sajjada Nashin, Hazrat Shah Saifullah Abul Ulai, the khanqah has continued its rich tradition of scholarship and spiritual guidance.

Branches of Khanqah Sajjadiya Abul Ulaiya are established in Agra, Allahabad (Prayagraj), Kishanganj, Karachi, and other places.
