A literary figure who voluntarily retired from central government service due to her deep love for literature. She has published two Hindi poetry collections, "Man Ke Pankh" and "Jugnu Ki Jung," along with one Urdu and one Hindi ghazal collection titled "Agar Tum Mujhse Keh Dete."
In addition, a critical book in Urdu titled "Anjana: Ek Shakhsiyat, Ek Shayira" has also been published on Dr. Anjana's poetry and persona. Several research papers in Hindi based on her poetic journey have also been compiled and edited.
Her ghazal collection "Agar Tum Mujhse Keh Dete" was announced to receive the “Firaq Gorakhpuri Samman” by the Hindustani Academy, Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh for the year 2020.
So far, she has been honored with over 30 awards for her literary contributions. These include the 8th Asian Literary Excellence Award in Dubai, the 26th Aashirvad Rajbhasha Saraswat Samman in Mumbai, the 11th National Women Excellence Award 2018, Neeraj Geet Ratna Samman in New Delhi, and the Vishisht Sahitya Samman from the international literary organization Manas Sangam, presented by the Governor.
Dr. Anjana is not only a multifaceted literary talent but also manages several educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh. She is also an active social worker, particularly dedicated to the education of underprivileged children, marriages of poor girls, and the rights of laborers.
Born on July 14, 1972, in the land of Bundelkhand, she is known as the daughter of Bundelkhand and the daughter-in-law of Pratapgarh, making Uttar Pradesh proud at national and international levels.
