About The Author
Sahir Sialkoti, Pandit Raghuvir Das (1906–1984), was a prominent poet of Punjab. He was born in Sialkot (now in Pakistan) and lived in Lahore for a considerable period. After the Partition of India, he moved to Jalandhar, where he remained for the rest of his life. He was a disciple of Josh Malsiani, and through this literary lineage, his poetic tradition traced back to Dagh Dehlvi.
