About The Author
Prem Kumar Nazar is one of the better known poets of considerable worth in Urdu. Born in Hoshiarpur, Punjab, he studied at Panjab University for his degrees of M. A. in English and Political Science and chose teaching as a profession. His poetry was translated into English and put together in a volume entitled The Silken Knot and was published by Writers Workshop, Calcutta, in 1996.
