Adeebul-Atfal

Adib-ul-Atfal in Hyderabad was the first children's magazine, with its first issue published in August 1911. This magazine was launched by Mirza Ahmadullah Beg Aghai Abul Alai. Consisting of twenty pages, the objectives of this magazine were to improve children's morals, teach selflessness and perseverance, highlight the benefits of industry and craftsmanship, and foster a taste for essay writing. The magazine served as a guide and advisor for parents in child upbringing. It published many important articles, and notably, the writers were awarded a silver pocket watch as a prize.
