मुस्कुराहट को हम इंसानी चेहरे की एक आम सी हरकत समझ कर आगे बढ़ जाते हैं लेकिन हमारे इन्तिख़ा कर्दा इन अशआर में देखिए कि चेहरे का ये ज़रा सा बनाव किस क़दर मानी-ख़ेज़ी लिए हुए है। इश्क़-ओ-आशिक़ी के बयानिए में इस की कितनी जहतें हैं और कितने रंग हैं। माशूक़ मुस्कुराता है तो आशिक़ उस से किन किन मानी तक पहुँचता है। शायरी का ये इन्तिख़ाब एक हैरत कदे से कम नहीं इस में दाख़िल होइये और लुत्फ़ लीजिए।
