P ذلت ẕillat (for A. ذلة, inf. n. of ذلّ 'to be base,' &c.), s.f. Baseness, meanness, vileness, abjectness, contemptibleness, abasement, humiliation, dishonour, disgrace, indignity, affront, insult;—ẕillat denā (-ko), To dishonour, disgrace, &c. (=ẕalīl karnā, q.v.):—ẕillat khaiṅćnā (-se, or kisī-ke hāth-se), To suffer dishonour, or disgrace, or shame, &c. (at the hands of).
