An ornament, a trinket, a jewel; jewels, jewellery, trinkets;—a pledge, anything in pledge, pawn; mortgage;—a heavy plank (or flat piece of wood) on which a man stands while it is dragged by oxen over a ploughed field to level the ground (syn. paṭṛā); a kind of harrow without teeth:—gahnā-pātā, s.m.
