جالا जाला jālā

H جالا जाला jālā [Prk. जालओ; S. जालकः], s.m. A net; a web, spider's web, cobweb: a pellicle; a speck (in the eye), cataract; a large jar, an earthen vessel; mildew (on flour, &c.); a kind of water-weed (used in refining sugar):—jāle paṛ-jānā, v.n. To be overgrown with weeds.

Heart-inflamed, in love;—one smitten with love, a love-sick person.
