ساق sāq fr. سوق

A ساق sāq (fr. سوق), s.f. The leg (from the ankle to the knee), the shank;—trunk, shaft, bole (of a tree); stalk (of a herb):—sāq-ě-ʻarūs, s.f. lit. 'Bride's leg'; a sort of sweet bread.
