H سمجهنا समझना samajhnā, (dialec.) समुझना samujhnā [samujh˚ or samajh˚ = Prk. संवुजझ(इ)=S. सम्बुध्य(ते), rt. सम्+बुध्], v.t. & v.n. To perceive, know, understand, comprehend, apprehend; to learn;—to think, consider, conceive, suppose, deem, imagine, fancy; to think highly of, to consider as good or excellent or remarkable;—to come to an understanding (with, -se), to look (to one, for explanation, or payment, &c.), to settle accounts (with, either fig. or lit.), to be even (with):—samajh-būjhnā = samajhnā:—samajh-jānā (-ko), and samajh-lenā, v.t. intens. of and = samajhnā.
