سوانح sawāniḥ

A سوانح sawāniḥ, s.m. plur. (of sāniḥ, q.v.), Occurrences, incidents, events, accidents;—sawāniḥ-nigār (or sawāṅiḥa-nigār), s.m. A news-writer, an intelligencer (an officer stationed by the Mog̠al government in distant provinces to transmit weekly to the court an account of all public transactions, such as the collection of revenue, the management of lands, and the state of the country):—sawāniḥ-ě-ʻumrī, s.m. The incidents of (one's) life.
