Dajjal (Antichrist)

Dajjal (Antichrist)

Anisur Rahman

Dajjal is a charlatan, an imposter, a false messiah. According to Prophet Moammad’s prophecy, he would appear as a one-eyed human with the word “kafir” (non believer) written on his forehead. Being a false messiah, he would be banned in Mecca but he would carry on his nefarious activities everywhere else. With enough treasures in hand and many magical powers at his command, he would be able to stop the sun, materialse rainfall, control vegetation, and bring the dead ones back to life and, so on. By exercising these powers, he would be able to mislead people into believing that he indeed is a messenger of God. Dajjal would appear close to the doomsday from a lost island of hell where he is imprisoned and kept in chains. He would finally be killed by Isa (Jesus), the real messiah.
