Asha Prabhat. Born on 21 July 1958, in Raksol, East Champaran, Bihar. A well knwon Urdu and Hindi short story writer, novelist, poet and translator. Has 12 books to her credit: " Marmoz" Urdu poetry collection; "Woh din"  and " ise waham hi rehne do" collections of  her Urdu short stories; "Dhund mien Uga ped" novel in Urdu and Hindi ;
" aaj ke Hindi afsane" translation from Hindi to Urdu and  " Aaj ki Urdu Kahani" translation of Urdu to Hindi. Along with many awards for her Hindi writings , she has also  received three awards from Bihar Urdu Academy.
