Born Nasir Parvez, Nasir Amrohvi was born on September 25, 1985 in the literary city of Amroha in Uttar Pradesh. He is an Assistant Teacher in the Department of Urdu, Department of Secondary Education, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Nasir Amrohi's early education took place at Fatima Convent School in Amrohi. Later, after completing his internship from the city's renowned Muslim Inter College, Abdul Karim Khan Inter College, he did his BA from JS Hindu PG College, Amroha. He also holds a master's degree in Urdu Literature from MHPG College, Muradabad. The very next year after completing his MA, he entered for a PhD at Rohail Khand University, Bareilly and under the supervision of Dr. Sharif Ahmad Qureshi, Associate Professor in the Department of Urdu, Government Raza PG College, Rampur, having researched and received a doctorate on the life and literary contributions of Nasir Kazmi.

Dr. Nasir Amrohi is one of the most respected poets of the young generation who maintains both freshness and seriousness in his ghazals. In Urdu poetry, he made the scene in 2003 and soon made his mark on the younger generation. His main interest was always in poetry, which is why he made Nasir Kazmi, a modernist poet, the subject of his PhD. Among his most admired poets, are Nasir Kazmi, Munir Niyazi, Ahmad Faraz, John Eliya, Parveen Shakir and Zafar Iqbal. Although Nasir Amrohvi writes equally captivating Nazms, his innate bent remains towards composing Ghazals, which has grasped many a great poet. Thusly, four of his works have come to light which have been well received in the literary circles.
