Salman Zafar, a young Urdu poet of the present era. He was born on 25 September, 1987 in Pihani, a historical town area of district Hardoi, (UP). His father's name is janaab Hafiz Saleemullah sahab. He has completed his primary education in his birth city. He is post graduate in Hindi Literature. He began his poetic journey from his home town. He is a very famous and popular young poet of All India Mushairas. He participated many Mushairas of country. His main form of poetry is Ghazal but also tried hand in the various fields of Urdu Poetry like Geet, Nazm, Qat'aat and Hamd o Naat too. His modern style of poetry and his gestures is mesmerizing. He performs his Kalaam in Tahat ul Lafz. He has received many Aizaazat and Certificates by various Urdu committees. His unnamed poetic collection is under process.
