About The Author

Born on February 18, 1888, in Chhata Bazaar, Inner Lahore, to Pir Bakhsh. Your family was among the devotees of Mian Sher Muhammad Sharqpuri. Your education began with the memorization of the Holy Quran, which you completed at the young age of seven. After that, you passed matriculation from Mission High School, Rang Mahal.
Subsequently, you turned towards religious education and, between 1909 and 1913, studied under the scholars of Jamia Naumania, Dars-e-Bade Mian Mughalpura, Madrasa Neela Gumbad, and Jamia Fathia. During this time, in 1911, you passed the Munshi Fazil examination from Punjab University, and in 1913, you also successfully passed the Molvi Fazil examination. You then resumed modern education and obtained a BA degree from Punjab University in 1918.
Between 1924-25, when the Shiddhi Movement was spreading its deception, a campaign was launched against it.
After completing both religious and modern education, Molana Muslim took on the responsibility of delivering sermons at a small mosque located outside Lohari Gate. He was an eloquent and melodious speaker, and his manner of expression was captivating. The inclusion of English phrases during his speeches also intrigued the audience.
Molana Muslim frequently participated in the gatherings of Poet of the East, Allama Muhammad Iqbal. Writing for the Zamindar newspaper further refined his literary and scholarly skills. He also played an active role in the Pakistan Movement.
Molana Muhammad Bakhsh Muslim lived a profound scholarly and revolutionary life and passed away in 1987 at nearly 100 years of age.
