Zahra Qadiri is the daughter of Dr Khalid Hasan Qadiri. The family of Dr Qadiri have generously donated his great literary library collection to Rekhta.

Miss Qadiri was born in London, UK, in the 1980s. Having attended Islamia Girls’ Secondary School, she graduated with a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the University of Westminster, London. Not inclined towards the family tradition of teaching, she decided to embark on a career in school administration, specialising as a Database and Website Administrator.

Miss Qadiri dedicated a number of years to assist with the caring of her father in the latter stages of his life. She has visited India on numerous occasions, to maintain ties with her family and heritage, including Delhi, Agra, Aligarh and Bachchroan. She is currently working as a professional Exams Invigilator in London, where she resides with her mother.
